The Corvette Standard is available in  Ash woods . Like maple, ash is a tried-and-true body wood, One reason their basses have such a special sound is because of the wood Warwick uses to make their necks. Ovangkol is a very dense wood that offers superior stability and outstanding tonal characteristics with a unique cosmetic look in a closed grain, stable neck wood. The fingerboard is made from wenge wood. Warwick players have toured through various countries and climates without having to make significant adjustments to their necks.
