The DC30 delivers a painstakingly built recreation of a classic top boost guitar amp with TC Electronics’ brand new AMPWORX technology. Individual volume, EQ, and gain controls across both channels allow you to stack amplification stages your way, using the distinctive, louder Brilliant channel. All of this delivers a realistic, responsive amp right on your pedalboard.

Custom top boost

As with the original amp that inspired it, the DC30 features a unique treble-focused grit that really shines on blues, rock, indie, and pop. Being a staple amp of popular genres throughout the 60s, the DC30 recreates this with its Brilliant channel and high cut controls. Combined with this, you can get some extra drive and punch from the built-in boost circuitry, recreating the experience of adding an overdrive into your chain – with adjustable gain and the ability to switch between positioning it before or after the amp simulation.

Official cabinet simulation

To add that final touch of polish, this preamp pedal comes with an official Celestion cabinet simulator, emulating the 2 x 12 cabinets the amp that inspired this pedal always came with. This recreates the tone of Celestion’s unique Alnico Blue speakers, typically associated with the original amp, for even more authenticity. Its individual DI output makes it easy to run directly into PA systems when playing live, or audio interfaces when recording at home.
