Unlike a lot of other guitar companies that outsource their work, Sire own the factory in which their basses are built. This means cheaper production and full control over the quality of the instruments from start to finish. It goes without saying that we QC check each and every Sire bass that comes through our doors, but we are always blown away by how little tweaking is required because they’re always set up so well from the factory!

The V8 is Sire’s new flagship bass guitar model, packed with premium features that you would typically expect to see on more expensive models. Sporting a familiar J-Bass body shape, the V8 boasts a Swamp Ash body, roasted Hard Rock Maple neck and an Edgeless™ Hard Rock Maple fingerboard for maximum comfort and playability. At the heart of the V8 is a set of Marcus Miller-approved Vintage Fat-J Revolution pickups with ’70s spacing, delivering Marcus’ signature punchy tones. The onboard Sire Heritage-3 preamp allows you to accurately shape your tone with both active and passive modes on hand.
