The Shure Super 55 Deluxe Microphone draws inspiration from this legacy. It stays true to the unmistakable design from the 1930s, but is equipped with up-to-date technology to meet the demands of modern productions. A microphone for singers, broadcasters, and podcasters alike.

Classic meets modern

The Super 55 Deluxe features a new mic capsule, based on the hugely popular Beta 58A microphone. This extends the frequency response up to 17kHz, for better articulation and top end ‘sparkle’, as well as a smoother, more controlled low end. The mic boasts a supercardioid pickup pattern, providing superior rejection of noise from the side of the mic. That means clear sound, wherever you perform.
