Vintage-style Drumsticks for Jazz Applications
The Vintage Series is a mainstay of the Innovative Percussion product line. It all starts with prime white hickory selected for straight grain, strength, and weight. Next, the sticks get lathed down to their final size with a 16.125-inch length, a medium taper, and old-school acorn-style tips. Finally, they’re lightly lacquered for a secure grip and extra durability to get you through any gig. At Sweetwater, we found these sticks to create a pleasing, well-rounded sound with excellent articulation around the kit. This model, the IP-7A, is a pair of 7A wood tip drumsticks. Their thinner diameter makes them a perfect match for jazz applications.
