The SRAS7 expands your tonal arsenal massively by including the fretless section, which gives you access to microtones that standard, fretted basses simply do not. Your slides along the fretless strings will take on a new voicing, and you’ll be able to explore new avenues with your expression on the bass.

Sublime array of tones

You’ll never be short of inspiration. With a combination of SRAS Super J pickups and an Aerosilk piezo, you’ll be able to access a universe of tones which will massively expand your arsenal. The Super J pickups produce an electrically bright tone, with plenty of punch and more than enough dynamism to handle anything you can throw at them – be it metal, blues, rock, or anything else. With the Aerosilk piezo, you can access an acoustic-style tone, which is much more woody and similar to that of an upright bass. And, of course, you can dial in your dream voicing with any of these pickups using the two-band EQ and active piezo tone control.

Effective hardware

Backed up by the best. With an MR5 bridge and AeroSilk MR5 bridge at your back, you can be sure your tuning and intonation will be perfect. The AeroSilk bridge boasts saddles which were specifically designed to work with the piezo pickup, maximising vibration transference and further helping to create that upright bass tone. You’ll also get a detachable finger rest for placing your thumb in your desired position.
