Known for his blazing speeds, tricky tapping and sweeping arpeggio runs, he’s at the forefront of experimental electric guitarists. With this in mind, his signature has been designed to maximise playing speed and creative potential, but with a classy vintage appearance.

Custom Ichika pickups

Voice your skills. The ICH100 features a trio of custom single coil pickups that provide a powerful and open tone, perfect for capturing every note in a rapid series of taps or arpeggios. They’ve been tuned and developed by Ichika and Ibanez to accurately express the distinct “Ichika Nito” sound, letting you replicate his tone without effort.

Even better, they’re paired with a five-way switch to serve up a plethora of texture, affording you tonnes of versatility when performing.

Super-fast playability

To reach the speeds of Nito you’ll need a neck and fretboard sculpted for pacey playing. And the ICH100 delivers with its Wizard C roasted maple neck and silky rosewood board. Heat treated to improve its durability and sanded to a fine satin finish, you’ll be able to glide up and down the scales with zero resistance. And that’s not all – the neutral Wizard C profile ensures you can adapt to any number of playing styles with equal success, so don’t be afraid to get creative!

As for the fretboard, the rosewood’s soft touch is accompanied by 22 medium frets to ensure a quick action and effortless string bends – meaning there’s nothing standing in the way of you and lightning-fast riffs! And with Luminlay side dots providing at-a-glance direction in even the darkest of stages, you’ll be soloing like a god in no time at all.

Expect a flawless performance fit for Ichika with the ICH100. In addition to enhancing your creative options, the T106 tremolo bridge makes adjusting string height and intonation a breeze thanks to its individual string saddles. Even better, your tuning will remain rock-solid no matter how much you hammer the tremolo or bend the strings, because a set of premium Gotoh locking machine heads keep your string gripped in place.
