Description

The 2018 Ibanez AF55 Artcore in Tobacco Brown is designed to evoke the sound, the looks, and the feel of a guitar from a by-gone era. It features a classic hollowbody design for a bright and open tonality that has found popularity in a diverse range of genres, from biting blues, country and rock, through to mellow jazz, funk and soul. The AF55 is loaded with Infinity R humbuckers for a warm, balanced articulation with excellent response for various musical genres. The guitar is constructed from maple with a mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard. This classic combination provides the ideal mix of bright tones, resonance, sustain, and an “airy” quality of tone. The medium-power pickups complement the hollow body design for a sound that is highly nuanced and responds very well to player input. 20 medium frets mounted on a graduated thickness neck provide a smooth playing experience and ensure you’ll have no barriers to your playing technique. The AF55 combines the best of classic-guitar design to give you a classy instrument that would be ideal for many different genres of music.
