In the design of this amazing semi-hollowbody electric guitar, Gibson’s elite Custom Shop luthiers exhaustively poured through scans and blueprints of the coveted originals to give you an instrument, as a ’60s Gibson advert stated, “… as exciting as the young performer who helped create it.” A laminated Maple body with elongated diamond sound holes and a satin ebony nitro finish, paired with a Mahogany set neck rocking a non-reverse Firebird headstock design give this axe serious stage and studio cred, while its dual Custombucker pickups serve up a veritable smorgasbord of tone.
