Gibson Custom Shop 1958 Korina Flying V Reissue (White Pickguard)

First introduced in 1958, the Gibson Flying V featured a radical, all new design that was years ahead of its time. Upon it’s release though, Gibson only shipped eighty one units in the first year with the futuristic design dividing opinions! However, in the years since, the Flying V has become one of Gibson’s more popular models with players such as Kirk Hammett (Metallica) and Jimi Hendrix favouring it’s unique design.

The Gibson Custom Shop 1958 Korina Flying V VOS is a faithful recreation of the original model with a level of authenticity and attention to detail that only the Gibson Custom Shop can offer. Finished in an authentic Nitrocellulose Lacquer (VOS), the 1958 Flying V will age beautifully over time.
