Dreadnought Body

The Ibanez PF15 features a traditional dreadnought body, which projects an enormous voice, yet still maintains overall tonal balance. With superb volume and projection, the PF15 Acoustic is ideal for a wide range of genres and playing styles, from aggressive strumming to flat picking styles. Furthermore, the sheer volume the dreadnought shape can project makes it an ideal vocal accompaniment for acoustic jams and performances. The big body size is also ideal for players with a longer reach, and those more comfortable with the dreadnought size.

Spruce & Sapele Construction

The spruce top yields crisp articulation and delivers a broad dynamic range, offering a versatile sound for players of any style. Its clear and loud characteristics can handle everything from light fingerpicking to more aggressive strumming patterns with ease. The sapele back and sides offer a consistently well-balanced sound, with a beautifully bright quality and a stunning top-end shimmer. Together, the mixture of timbers offers a versatile sound to accommodate a diverse range of playing styles, providing players with a great all-purpose electro acoustic guitar.

Mahogany Neck & Acacia Fingerboard

Constructed from mahogany, the neck delivers a fat, warm sound with plenty of resonance. Due to the density of mahogany, it is less susceptible to warping, offering stability and durability. In addition, the neck is topped with an acacia fingerboard, adding a unique tonal projection with a sweet characteristic. The two tonewoods offer an incredibly smooth playing experience, ensuring players receive excellent comfort across the entire fingerboard.
