The Ibanez AE315 cutaway acoustic-electric is another installment in the AE series that continues a stellar tradition. The AE series introduced a slightly shallower body than a dreadnought along with a narrow waist that delivers a dynamic feel when aggressively strummed while also responding beautifully to subtle fingerpicking. The deeper contours of the AE315 waist allow the guitar to sit lower when a player is seated, translating to effortless comfort and easy access. This beautifully crafted acoustic emits a pleasing, bright tone thanks to its solid Sitka spruce top and pau ferro back and sides, which are further supported tonally by a cultured maple bridge and fingerboard with a specially designed wooden inlay. The unique tone of this fine instrument is translated flawlessly through a custom Ibanez pickup and preamp system for live performance.
